I wanted to make a modern Dresden Plate
in primary colors for a visually stimulating baby quilt
with square blocks with a square center
using my easy Dresden ruler.
For this scrappy quilt I used some bright fat quarters in my stash
and added some scraps of other fabrics.
This quilt has a flannel backing for cozy warmth
and has straight line quilting.
 I made a matching pillow with an extra block.
