30/30 ~ No Rules Sewing

30/30

playing with fabric ...

rulers and a rotary cutter in my hand ...

no rules ...

just an idea or an image in my head...

no pattern ...

(well ... unless I decide to use one)

no rules here

so I can change them anytime I want

my idea of sewing fun!

Sarah @ Berry Barn Designs

has started a fun new linky party

30/30 Sewing Challenge

So I am going to play  ...

... with the fabric!

My 30 minutes today was cutting these charms into random width strips
and sewing them together is random order.

... just keep sewing ...

  2. Love what you did already! Navy and orange have really been catching my eye lately. There are some great peachy/orange tones in many of the spring fabric lines - not usually my favorite, but definitely starting to grow on me. Welcome to the challenge!

  4. Oooh I like the randomness of that, the fabrics look so pretty together. I occasionally follow a pattern but make my own up most of the time it can be a disaster or in most cases a whole lot of fun :)

  8. You got me - I thought it had something to do 30 degree angles. Different minds think differently at first glance. I guess I still think in numbers having been a math major!
