A Baby Sister Quilt Start ... and Katniss finds a Box!

These are the scrap squares that I had left from

Yesterday I was trying to work on my next Stitchin's Sister RR border.
I was not sew productive.
My quilty muse is not happy with the fabrics I have gathered.
I am going to have to give this more thought ...
maybe find more fabrics in my stash ..
or something.
I do not know what yet.
My quilty muse is being very quiet on this project.

So today I am starting a new project while my quilty muse muses.

... so ...

Remember this quilt?

I made this quilt for a little girl who loves pink.

Now she has a new baby sister!

So this pretty pink quilt needs a baby sister quilt
to welcome this new baby to our world
in the room she shares with her big sister.

So I pulled out my overflowing pink scrap drawer ...

Katniss helped.

Then ...

Katniss found a Katniss Sized Box!

This is the box in which I received the strings in this post,
from

Katniss looks surprised that she fit and she and the box did not end up on the floor again as she did with the
Butterfly Size Box in this post.

Katniss settled in.

Katniss says, "Thanks, Amy!"

While Katniss enjoys her box,
I am stitching.

This will be a quick quilt.

I have a new charm quilt idea!

My quilty muse and I are really excited about this plan.

More soon.

... just keep sewing ...

  2. Wow, you have a lot of great pinks! I dumped the scraps from Moe's box lid claimed bed - put in the kitty quilt and now he won't go near it. Guess I can get rid of that box lid now.
