Welcome and Have a Latte !
When I signed up for this hop I had sew many ideas.
Life got in the way and time started to run away.
As I was getting down to the wire, I was feeling stressed.
Time to stop and enjoy the fabric.
Quilting is supposed to be fun.
So my quilty muse and I had a late night latte listened to the fabric.
The red in this line is so gorgeous.
The cups on red is my favorite.
I awoke with a quilty dream in my head and a new plan!
I had another cuppa ...
... and laid out the fabrics ...
... put on my temporary reading glasses...
(Yes, I aw still waiting for my new prescription tri-focals.
The lab is very slow. )
... and started cutting strips ...
... and sewing ....
Here is my new table quilt!
I started cutting this quilt Saturday morning and finished the binding Tuesday at noon.
This is one of the quickest and easiest quilts that I have ever designed and made.
Did I say it was FUN? Oh, yes it was!
This quilt is 50" square and is intended to be a gift for a
beautiful gal with a square pub style table.

To make it more useful I made it two sided.
The reverse side is made from a patriotic Stonehenge fabric and a panel.
I quilted this on the reverse side and started the large circular quilting around the
eye of the eagle.
This side of the quilt would make a great wall hanging.

Here is the quilting on the Latte side.
I loved this quilting technique and am going to do this again on a large quilt.
Please be sure to share a latte
with all these lovely quilty ladies today ...
