Butterfly and My Daughter's Wedding Quilts.

Butterfly was My Girl's Baby Kitty,
adopted at the Humane Society as a kitten.
My Girl wisely left her senior kitty here in her forever home
when she married and moved away
because she knew her kitty would be happier here.
Butterfly and I bonded while missing Our Girl.

Our Favorite Quilt

My Quilty Cuddly Kitty

The last photo of her.
After I put down the camera I just held her outstretched paw.

I love you, Butterfly.

  6. Butterfly was such a sweet cat, friend and companion. I'm so sorry for your loss. But I'm also so proud of you for providing such a loving home for her. So many pets never know such love and comfort. And quilty cats are the absolute best. May Butterfly never be forgotten.

  7. So very hard when our fur babies have to go. The 17 years of the love shared with Butterfly just isn't enough. She obviously loved being your quilting partner. Do you remember how hard it was to get her fur off the quilts? Now do you go looking for that fur? Hugs and tears...

  11. Reading about your little Miss Butterfly is so sad. I remember my little Tuxedo kitty, Ms Pigs, who didn't get to stay with us for long. I miss her still, it's been a few years in July. I now have two brothers who are never allowed to roan freely outside. We built a nice little catio for them, so they would stay safely inside, close to Mama!
