I Like Thursday # 62 ~ Bee Totally Happy

Words of the Week:
Bee Happy!

I have been happily cleaning my messy sewing corner and quilting room.
No photos ... too messy.
That is why I am cleaning and reorganizing... ;)

This is a Quilt Puzzle by Lori Holt @ Bee in My Bonnet

I bought it for myself when I saw it as an early birthday present for me
and I am making plans to open it and put it together on my day,
which is in September ... just for fun!

Just for fun, how about a
Riddle of the Week:

If Maureen McCormick the actress who played

Marcia of the The Brady Bunch
designed a fabric collection what would it be named?

My favorite find for a pattern for this is from

Want It, Need It, Quilt It @ Quilt Jane

Totally Groovy

which it is!

I just may have to make this one.

Totally Yummy
are the recipes I am finding at

Quilting Time in Dixie

This one is for Plain Cake in a Skillet.
Recipe Here
There is one for pineapple Upside Down Cake in a Skillet, too.
Yum!!

My homemade latte, extra foam, is empty
so I am going to make a refill and visit my friends

  2. omg Maureen mccormicks's fabrics look like dresses and shorts I had in the 60's and 70's. Sewn on the singer, rick rack, pedal pushers.

  8. What a fun fabric collection!!! I love all those colors! I made a pineapple upside down cake not too long ago for the first time in forever and it reminded me of being a little kid. So very tasty!! Good luck with your cleaning up- I feel like I spend as much time cleaning my studio as I do working in it. It's amazing how fast the disaster accumulates!

  9. Maureen's designs and colors have me thinking about the clothes I wore way back then. lol Thanks for the link to the cake recipe. I like those easy-peasy recipes. Now to find what to substitute for self-rising flour.
