It is time for spring quilts and cabin fever cats who want to run and play.
I have put away the winter blues and Valentine reds and taken out
some of my favorite spring greens.
The pretty wallhanging was quilty gift from my friend
The pillow is My Favorite Block design.
The table quilt was made many, many years ago in my pre-blogging days.
It may be the first patchwork table topper that I ever made.
It has a very " vintage shabby chic" look to it now.
The pillow was made with some scrappy string swap blocks,
which I Blogged About Here.
The string swap block flimsy is still unquilted, mostly because
I am not sure I liked the size and block arrangement.
It was very long and narrow, but do not want to take it apart.
The sofa quilt I made last year as a pattern test quilt.
I pattern tested this design in 2020.

Katniss and I are forward to real spring weather when the flowers bloom
and we can open the window.
For now, though, I am happy just to enjoy my spring green quilts!
This photo is not my own but it is a good representation of March in my quilty corner.
The crocus here are still under several inches of melting snow and frozen leaves.
It is the time when winter is starting to lose its grip but spring has not arrived.
Tonight, winter is trying reassert itself with single digits and sub-freezing wind chills.
Brrr!
Happy March!
Pretty setting to brighten the days up. We are experiencing the wind, snow and deep freeze again as well.
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty quilts. I know it is time to shake off the winter blahs. We are up and down in temps, but we are being teased with high 40's and 50's in the next several days.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Spring quilts and warmer weather. Our season has just jumped over to Autumn, how on earth did that happen, I wonder, I'm not ready to let go of Summer just yet!
ReplyDeleteOh, you are all ready for Spring, and you've remimded me that I need to put my winter decor away. Maybe I can get it done before May - LOL!
