I have sewed other Irish Chain patterns in the past
but this version is a new one to me and I am adding it to my files.
I have not decided yet if I will be sewing along this time,
but I have many, many 2.5" square scraps that need to be sewn into a quilt.
Hmmm ... this is a maybe.
I shall finish the baby quilt that I have in the works
and see what I sew next.
I do <3 Irish Chain Quilts.

I always like the scrappy Irish chain quilts I see like this. They're so pretty! Thanks for sharing the information and link. Happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteI love the Irish Chain block. It always makes a wonderful quilt. This one is no exception. Wow! 9X9 blocks! That's a lot of scrappiness! I started one of my own called the Irish Star. It's an Irish Chain quilt with a pieced star in the "snowball" block. Enjoy the quilt along. ;^)
ReplyDeleteIrish chains are one of my favorites also Pat. Thanks for the link to the scrappy directions. It's always good to see new ways of doing something.
ReplyDeletePat, this is the quilt I've been wanting to start! My problem is I want to do it in red or blues and can't decide which to start first!!! Oh what a coincidence...happy quilting.
