Fort Worth Fabric Studio ~ Spooky Mystery 2023
This mystery is in it's second week
and there are already many spooky quilts in the making on the
This quilt shop offers several free mystery patterns per year
and sells kits for each one.
These step by step weekly instalments will only remain free on their website for awhile
before they are turned into a for purchase whole pattern.
At some point these become whole patterns
available only for purchase.

I appreciate the fun free downloads while they are available and if I find a pattern that I like that I missed when it was free, I am happy to buy it, too. I thank the designers for sharing their creativity during their design and testing and appreciate that they must also earn their living. Just sharing my thoughts here.

I am not affiliated with this lovely quilt shop,
which always sends a few little gifts with their orders,
a tea bag, a piece of candy, a small notion.

Here are my three possible fabric pulls for sewing
the Stay Spooky 2023 Mystery:
The Stay Spooky Kit from Fort Worth Fabric Studio
(plus a panel and a charm pack)
These fabrics are glow in the dark!
I usually buy a few Halloween fabrics per year for my stash
and these were my choice this year.
This is a combo of a few fabric lines from my stash.
This combines the kit fabrics with the bright "Pretty Creepy"
by Cori Dantini for Free Spirit fabrics from my stash.
(Nutmeg's Choice)
This combines some pink and purple
Boodacious from Kaufman Fabrics and
Spooky and Sweet by Art Gallery Fabrics.
As you can see, the kitties and I have a lovely large stash to choose from.
We need to get sewing.
Well ... Cassian actually is thinking, "Why are you playing with fabric
and sitting at the computer?
You need to give us lunch. You're late!"
" Leave this to me!
I will get it posted!
You go get us lunch.
Now!"

What would you pick for this quilt???
I always enjoy hearing my readers fabric thoughts.
Can you what we chose? :)

Please share!
I love all of the fabric collections you shared and especially love the skeleton under your needle. I think whichever you choose it will be fabulous. I have been meaning to comment for a long time but you know how good intentions are, anyway, I am so glad you are back to blogging as I missed you during your break and I check your blog every day. Also, you are so kind and wonderful for taking Cassian in and giving him a loving home. I look forward to your posts and if I can I will try to link up a spooky project I just finished but my hubby had a stroke recently and life has changed considerably.
