Witchy Stitchy Blog Hop ~ My Day!

Here is my new Witchy Stitchy Table Runner!

This quilt was made with

and this free pattern and tutorial:

My orange Quilty Kitty Nutmeg and I had fun playing with the HSTs
and devised our own layout.

This quilt was made with one

and a half yard of the little witches fabric and one of the main print fabrics.
The white in the center is
Creme Seeing Stars Grunge by Moda
from my stash,
The binding was also a fabric from my stash from Bewitching by Deb Strain.
This jelly roll is now on sale!

We were very happy with the results.

We played with the extra jelly roll strips from the front and made a pieced back.

We did straight line quilting on our Janome  with bright orange King Tut thread.

This quilt has been black Quilty Kitty Maestro tested and approved.

My quilty kitties and I like to make quilts to be used and enjoyed ...

Quilty Kitty Katniss has been enjoying this runner on the back of our sofa.

Katniss loves a quilt on the back of the sofa and says she thinks this should be called a
"sofa runner" and not a table runner
and that every cat should have one.

We made this quilt for the

  4. I love it when quilted pieces can be used front and back, the only problem with your piece is that I wouldn't know which side I liked more. I'd have to get up each morning and flip it. Great design choices. So bright and hauntingly cheery.

  8. What is with cats and quilts? They just love to lie on quilts and get right in the middle of things when you sew. Cats and quilts are both cuddly I guess. Your table runner is so colorful Pat and what a lovely setting to photograph it in. I just love that selvage with the witch hats instead of dots!
