We were very happy with the results.
We played with the extra jelly roll strips from the front and made a pieced back.
We did straight line quilting on our Janome with bright orange King Tut thread.

"sofa runner" and not a table runner
and that every cat should have one.

Very festive runner, front and back.
ReplyDeleteLove table runners will keep this one on hand... happyness04431@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteBeautiful runner! The Halloween fabrics work perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI love it when quilted pieces can be used front and back, the only problem with your piece is that I wouldn't know which side I liked more. I'd have to get up each morning and flip it. Great design choices. So bright and hauntingly cheery.
ReplyDeleteLove the runner! I always enjoy seeing Halloween projects. Halloween is my very favorite holiday.

Ah, your table runner is really darling! And the kitty testing it is also pretty cute!! :)
ReplyDeleteAdorable runner.
ReplyDeleteThat fabric is one of my favorites and you made it even more amazing. I love how the kitties step in to give you a hand with your sewing...too funny! Your runner turned out really beautiful and your photos were just gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your Witchy Stitchy project with us! xo
ReplyDeleteWhat is with cats and quilts? They just love to lie on quilts and get right in the middle of things when you sew. Cats and quilts are both cuddly I guess. Your table runner is so colorful Pat and what a lovely setting to photograph it in. I just love that selvage with the witch hats instead of dots!
ReplyDeleteLove your runner, both sides!
ReplyDeleteKitty may have the right idea....just one more space to display a runner. And this one definitely needs displaying. Its gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGreat table runner, both sides. Great runner tester too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great table runner.
ReplyDeleteGreat table runner! Beautiful design. Love the fabric you chose. The back is almost as cute as the front.

ReplyDeleteThe table runner is great--I like the idea of putting it on the back of the sofa. You have some great models!!
