It s finished!
My Patchwork Crochet Sampler Throw ~ Started Here
Welcome to Stitch Sew & Show ~ 2022 ~ Week 19
When I started this project to revive and build my crochet skills,
it was to be 20 squares for this
Crochet Sampler Crochet Along @ The Inspired Wren
It soon took a life of its own and I added setting rectangles
and granny squares and my own border.
I will be adding "Patchwork Crochet Sampler Throw"
and the hastag #patchworkcrochet
to all my posts for this to make them easier to find.
This crochet throw is a nice size to snuggle under and share on windy days on our yard swing.
which I will show you soon.
Maestro seems to think the cat needs to be out of the bag.
as long is she may be the one wrapped.
More photos of this and my sea adventure soon!
What have you been working on this week, my friends?

The afghan is so beautiful! I love it and I love how you took the original pattern and added your own twists to is. I look forward to see what you do with the seaside colors. I don't have a cat named Katniss but we do have a cow named Katniss. Happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteWow, is that ever beautiful! I especially like the border. Always love the kitty photos; I have three of them myself (but only one likes to ‘help’ me with my projects).
ReplyDeleteYour crocheted afghan is gorgeous, Pat and it has been such a joy to watch you work on it. This was a big one. Have a lovely weekend and thank you for hosting the link party.
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet Pat, it looks so soft and inviting, great job! I am enjoying the colors of your new project as well, so soothing. Thanks for another week for a ling up. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteLove that afghan! You did a marvelous job with it and so many different uses! I love the thought of snuggling underneath it on a porch. The hints of the sea inspired project are terrific. The kitties really do have a lot of fun with your work!
ReplyDeleteThe afghan is gorgeous. It seems that you just had to add your own patchwork style to it as you went along. Its perfect on the bed, but on the porch is my favorite idea of snuggling under a blanket like that. I love seeing the kitties and hints of your new project - the colors look perfect.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the big finish. It's beautiful and I don't even like pink. But I do like this blanket a lot.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Pat! It's not only finished, but it's also GORGEOUS! I so love the "sashing" you added. It brings a different cachet to the blanket. Stunning! Bravo! Oh! your new project is intriguing. Can't wait to see more. ;^)
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely! I really like the colors.
