Color It Red Blog Hop ~ I Like Thursday # 45


I Like Red <3 
February has been a busy month of sewing and stitching red.

This Sweet Lily Block is a sample block I sewed for a pattern by

The pattern release is coming soon and I will post my finished project 
and link to the pattern at that time. 


These Sweet Tea blocks are also a sample quilt for a new 
pattern release that is coming this Saturday, February 22nd.

  9. Oh my goodness, your Lily block is amazing--I love the fabrics you used--and your cross stitching is fabulous. That quilt pattern sampler is really neat. I used to cross stitch all the time until I took up quilting 20 years ago. I still have lots of kits and supplies, and that sampler you're working on ALMOST makes me want to take it up again. Thanks for sharing!

  17. Ahh--I love red--almost as much as I love pink!!
    you have some really pretty red projects in the working stage there--
    and they will be fun to finish them when time permits--
    I am waiting to get in the mail--2 all red charm packs I ordered this week that where on sale--wonder what I will make with them?????

  18. I love the block, but the cross stitch pattern is just wonderful. It's the one thing I've never been able to learn or had the patience to learn so I really admire those who can do it. Both projects... fabulous!!!

  27. It's been a long time since I made the Lily Block - looks fantastic in those rich reds. I've been watching many working on this cross stitch piece. Love the colors and designs in this piece.
