My Airmail Envelope Quilt Wrap-up!

Here are some alternate colorways and layouts ...

I bought these cute and contemporary fabrics ...

The swirly "Fishy Shoals" are my favorite from this line and I have used the gray for the envelopes, the multi-color on white for the background and the aqua in the narrow inner border (which is a design addition to the original pattern) and for the binding in the above quilt layout.

I used the beautiful dark "Sealife" on navy for the wide outer border.

I bought these fabrics ... it was love at first sight ... with a different quilt image in my head
but the more I look at this layout, the more I want to sew it.
A cute little baby boy I know has a nautical themed nursery and he needs a quilt ... ;)

*Note: Since I have not actually sewn these two quilts the fabric requirements are copied from my EQ6 design software,  I have added 1/8 to 1/4 yard to all the computer generated amounts so that you should have extra fabric built in for errors and have a few lovely leftovers for scrap projects. Please always follow your own best judgement when cutting and sewing.
