Time to get my machine applique skills up to par.
I am working on a new pattern that is my March Blog Hop project.
Here is a sneak peek.
The two neutral fabrics are wovens.
I have never appliqued the cut edge of a woven before,
but it seams to be working.
Looking forward to showing you this one soon!

Your skill looks very ...skillful, lol. I have never machine appliqued a edge before. I usually hand stitch appliques. Maybe I should give your technique a try. I look forward to seeing your project.

Looking so good;)) I found I had to go very slowly with machine applique on my Santa Claus Lane piece...it took me a while to get in the grove--so I made a small applique to begin that I would start with before switching to my bigger "real" project and that helped me a lot...
I am such a rank beginner at this, but did enjoy the work a lot...will be doing more
