I like adding little hand stitches to my projects.
My stitches may not be perfect but they make me happy
This is my Scrappy Heart Block
with the Chained Feather embroidered edge
that I found on the video in the above link.
showed the view from my favorite stitching chair
in my living room.
I shows some of my favorite quilty things.
It is one of the first seasonal wall quilts that I remember making to warm my home.
This quilt has been in my quilt closet for the last few years,
I enjoyed taking it out and seeing it again like an old friend.
It was a free pattern ... somewhere.
It is probably circa 2012, because it has scraps of the
Tapestry Collection by Fig Tree Quilts
and is one of my favorite quilt fabric lines.
I remember that I only had a yard of the border floral
and I had to figure the exact width to cut so I had
used all of it and had an even border. It was a very odd sized cut.
The coffee bar under it is a new winter addition to my dining room.
Mr, Scrapatch loves the being close to his coffeemaker.

Such a warm and inviting room Pat. I always enjoy looking at it. Love your heart too, I find I enjoy the little embrodieries too. A flower here, a heart there... just little things, but oh so fun. Have a lovely day.
