The Pieces to the Puzzle

I am sewing the last of the blocks for my mystery quilt. Here are some of the pieces to the puzzle ...

Well, you did not think I was going to spoil the mystery, did you? ... lol! ;)

I hope to have the center of the top sewn together by tonight. Then I am going to put on a custom border as this is a twin size pattern and I want to make a full-size quilt. Still pondering the extra borders.

Have a happy, quilty day!

:) Pat

I can't wait to see the borders you put on. All my fabrics are directional so I don't want to put strait borders on since the seams will drive me crazy.

Thanks, my friends :) I have the top complete except for the custom borders. I put a rough mock-up layout of the quilt into my EQ6 ... (I have no idea how Jess came up with these blocks ... she is so creative) ... and I have four possible extra borders ... one with pieced blocks, one with corner blocks, and two with straight mitered borders in two different fabric combos. For any of these I will have to try to find a bit more of the golden yellow fusion, as I only have enough of that for the original borders. I have to put it aside for a week or so anyway. I need to get my RR borders done that are so overdue.
