Sunmer Sensations Blog Hop

Welcome!

Here is my newest creation,

a 3-D Flower Petal Table Topper!

I made this summery topper for the

Summer Sensations Blog Hop

Here is a close up of the center of my 3-D Flower Petal Mat.

And the best thing about it ...

... the petals unsnap and may be used for individual snack mats or coasters!

I made twelve petals and a round center.

Easy to use and easy to unsnap and wash, too!

I made this for my new counter height kitchen table and I wanted something to
use every day to protect the lovely finish of the table top.

My hubby helped me choose the colors and liked the orange center the best. He wanted green snaps, but my engineer son and I liked the orange snaps better for the front.  I used the green snaps on the back so there is a touch of green, too.

Here is the back of my new Flower Petal Table Mat.

I took it outside to our shaded deck for more pictures.

It us very, very hot here and a good day for barbecuing and dining on the deck.

Here it is outside on our deck where we moved our much used old kitchen table.

Many times we gathered as a family around this battered old table.

I love my new counter height table but this one had many memories.

I love my new table mat!!!

I will be making a green and red one for Christmas...

and maybe a "He loves me; He loves me not"  one
with heart shaped petals for Valentine's Day.
Will make sure to put an uneven number of petals on that one ... ;)

I love this new design idea and hope you have enjoyed it. too.

Oh my gosh! I love it! What an awesome idea to allow each petal to be removed and used as a little mat in itself. Super cute idea. I'll definitely be back tomorrow to see more.
