January - In The Pink
For the last few months, I have been following the Rainbow Scrap Challenge at So Scrappy Blog and every week I have thought about joining in and another Saturday goes by and my scraps are still piling up.
So for 2013 I have decided I am going to stop thinking and start sewing.
Sew before the day is over ...
I sewed!
These blocks are destined for a Scrap Quilt that I started last summer with the intention of making it a leader and ender project. Somewhere along the way of packing and moving stuff into my new sewing room, the bag with these scrap fabrics got tucked int a closet and forgotten.
Now I have made some good progress on the pink units for the ten pink blocks in this quilt.
Next Saturday I plan to sew more units together.

So glad you decided to join in! Looks like you put a lot of pink scraps to good use already.
I love 16 patches, they are so versatile. I just joined this month too, I sort of had good intentions last year, but this year I'm hoping to do much better and I'm excited about my rainbow quilts.
Love your romantic-looking pink fabrics! I look forward to seeing your progress over the year.
I spent all of last year prepping for this year. Now I too have just jumped in with both feet.
Thanks for the warm welcome into this challenge. I love scrappy! ... :) Pat
Sew pretty! I love that shade of pink. :)
