It is still full on winter here.
We have another 14 plus inches of the cold heavy wet white stuff
forecast for Tuesday.
One of nearby friends was who without power since Wednesday
just got their heat and lights back on today.
The only bloom in my home right now is this African Violet on my south facing windowsill.
Out the window, you may see one of the big broken branches down in our yard.
This hardy little plant is 36 years old.
The trunk is gnarled and twisted and woody.
But every winter it blooms.
Reminding me to find light and beauty even in the darkest times.
