Christmas Candy Crochet ~ Playing Catch-Up

 These are Stripes 7 to 12 for my current yarn project.

Christmas Candy Striped Sampler Afghan ~ Started Here

It is a monthly BOM kit and I am catching up as I had been focused on other projects. I know this month's kit is on the way, so I may or may not be ready for it when it arrives, but I am making good progress.  Crocheting is a no stress zone for me.  I find it very relaxing. 

These are Stripes 7 to 9 which I Posted Here.

Over the weekend I was able to complete Stripes 10-132.

Today is a beautiful day so I am taking my yarn bag out to enjoy the flowers blooming in the yard.

Spring Has Sprung!

The crocus are in bloom!

It was in the 80's today and I took my slow stitching on my

30's POTC BOM project outside

This bright red robin came sown to visit with me while I stitched.

It was nice to get some sun and fresh air.

I see we have a lot of yard clean up to do from the winter storms.

Right now, though, I want to sit and sew.

This is the block I am working on now.

Slow Stitching Sunday

I am making good progress on my

30s POTC Slow Stitching Project

I finished Block 2 above.

and I am slowly working on

Block 3 today ...

I decided on this layout here.

It is sunny here today and the snow is dripping off the roof in a steady patter.

We had an April Fool's Day snow storm of of snow and rain and ice
and several inches of a big wintery mess.

I hope winter is done fooling around with us.

I am thinking spring.
