As I have a lot of Halloween quilts, I am making this quilt for my daughter,

who wants to use it as a throw quilt on her sofa.

I love the pattern but it is wall quilt size, so we decided to make it larger.

I am adding a wide border, starting with cornerstone blocks.

I also decided this quilt needed a little bit of ...

This tutorial has been on my "To-Do" list since 2017.

I am sew happy I found the right project for making it.

Here are the cut pieces for my four ghost corner blocks.

This tutorial is excellent and these blocks were easy to sew.

Here are my four cornerstone blocks.

Today I will be putting al my blocks up on my design wall

and deciding the rest of my borders and setting.

I hope to have this top sewn together by the weekend.

your bats and boos is so adorable! The purple is striking and your choices add drama. I printed out a ghost pattern to do too!!! But didn't end up doing it, yet. who knows it's still up on the wall. I did a witch in center too. I love to see the variations that people do to a challenge or pattern, don't you? Purple is perfect

Wow, these are ever so cute, Pat. I love them! I also like the idea that some idea saved since 2017 can be put to use...gives me hope that my very old cache of ideas and patterns will have their turn someday too. :)
