Fall in the Scrapatch

Enjoying the colors of fall in my garden today.

Fall, Leaves, Fall

by Emily Brontë
"Fall, leaves, fall; die, flowers, away;
Lengthen night and shorten day;
Every leaf speaks bliss to me
Fluttering from the autumn tree.
I shall smile when wreaths of snow
Blossom where the rose should grow;
I shall sing when night’s decay
Ushers in a drearier day."

What a lovely quilt these colors would make.
May you weekend be happy and colorful ... :-)

Oh your hydrangeas are gorgeous! I saw one the other day that was a dark rust color.

That is indeed a pretty colour scheme. Nature has a way with colour!

Our weather in northern Indiana is about to turn colder and I suspect a killing frost will happen soon. My roses are still blooming. I recall that years past they were done by now...long before now. Global Warming is wreaking havoc with my weather expectations.
