Sewing for Spring

Spring sewing project surprise.

By mistake, I bought new sheers for my living room that were much too long

so I had to cut and roll new hems.

These are very spring like and brighten the room,

especially with the sun shining in.

The new sheers are more linen like and have printed leaves and flowers in three shades of green.  The last ones were embroidered netting and, unfortunately, the cats ripped holes in them. Hopefully, these will be more kitty-proof.

Katinss is enjoying the quilt catwalk and looking through thenew curtains,

but mostly she is hoping we will open the windows soon.

It is still a little cold for that, Katniss, maybe later today.

Spring is springing here!

Happy Spring (or Fall) in your quilty corner of the world.

The shears are so pretty. I am glad you are a sewer who could fix them to the right length.

Very nice Pat, they look lovely with the rest of your spring green decore.
