Stitch Sew & Show ~ 2022 ~ Week 6

Welcome to Stitch Sew & Show 2020 ~ Week 6!

I have been stitching little by little on a few projects.

I have been continuing to work of my two crochet projects.

Here I am working on the the first of the two blocks for my

Sampler Squares Afghan

The 4th pattern is this two-sided texture pattern called "Vertical Ribs."

The free pattern stitch may be found in the link below

Squares Sampler SAL ~ Pattern 4 ~ Vertical Ribs

@ The Inspired Wren

It took me a few tries and pulling out stitches to get the Front Post Double Crochet (FPDC) stitches that form the ribs all in a a line in the right places.

Now that I have figured it out I am making good progress on the first block.

I also have the Day 9 block sketched and colored for the

Day 9 Neighborhood Sample Block ~ Here

The free pattern download for all the blocks may be found here:

The Neighborhood ~ Free Downloadable Here

For how to do the embroidery stitches, there is a free, printable:

Crabapple Hill Studio Stitch Guide PDF

I hope to have the embroidery stitched by the end of the night.

What are you working on this week?

Please share in my linky party fun!

The afghan is looking so interesting with all the different stitches. Those embroideries look so tiny, how small are they? Happy stitching!

Your afghan blocks are looking fabulous and so is The neighborhood embroidery. I have that on my agenda too. Thank you for hosting the link party and happy stitching.

I am so enjoying seeing these different patterns. What a learning experience and great brain exercise, Pat. I need to do this too. BTW, thanks for those links too.
