Happy Thursday from my quilty corner of the world.
I am sharing today with all the
I Like Thursday Bloggers @ Not Afraid of Color
for sharing the good things we have found this week.
There has been days of snow that has added to the big piles around our house.
Nutmeg ahs wanted the back door open, sun, snow or cold so she can watch the critters and the birds.
It has been a week to make bread
My Basic Bread Baking Method Here
The little kitties have been helpful in my sewing.
Here Maestro is pressing my blocks for me.
Here Nutmeg is helping me to pick fabrics for my next SAHRR border.
Picking colors has been challenging for us this week.
Katniss has mostly supervised from her favorite basket on my cutting table.
Between the bright sun on snow light outside and all the sewing and such,
my eyes have been very tired and my vision blurry.
I have had to use a lot of drops.
My old readers broke and I had to buy new ones and found these pretty ones,
Blue Light Blocking Readers Here on Amazon
If you wear readers and have never tried blue light ones,
you might want to see if they will help you, too.
The blue light readers have been very helpful when playing with my phone and reading. This is my current read ...
which was a Christmas gift from one of my sons.
I have also been enjoying looking at the projects in this book,
which was also a gift.
I have not actually made any of the projects.
I have crochet hooks, but so many works in progress
that I do not want to start anything else.
My favorite thing this week is this new addition to my quilting corner.
It arrived this week, a gift from My Girl sent to me
after I mentioned how much I liked it
when I saw it on the wall in a set on a Fat Quarter Shop livestream.
It is available Here @ Hobby Lobby
I added the little Valentine Mini Quilt which I made
to brighten my corner.
I hope you have had a good week and that as the days get longer,
your days get brighter.
Happy Thursday!

Hi Pat! The days ARE getting longer, aren't they?!! And the snow . . . it can stop any time now. ANY time now! It looks like the kitties are warm and happy. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
Wow you and Rosemary have cornered the market on snow. The kitties look all snug, and happy. Love the piece your daughter sent and how awesome to use the little quilt behind it.
Look at all that snow! Bread looks delicious. And the kitties all look comfortable.
Kitties love to watch whatever goes on outside, don’t they?. Your little quilty corner is colorful and happy! The mini quilt behind your Crazy Quilter at Work is fabulous! It would be fun to have a different one every month! No pressure!! “ Teehee”
You have some cute help in your quilt room! I'm looking forward to seeing your border for the Round Robin. That little quilt sign is very cute. I may have to check those blue light glasses.
